Pre-Release Online, Next is MBS Gameday!

Hello everybody, this is Kevin from KlotzProductions again back for another blog update.

I now have all of the footage from the Mirrodin Besieged Pre-Release edited and online.  So head on over to the channel and check out all of the top eight goodness if you haven't already.

The next thing I will be working on is the top eight footage from MBS gameday.  I actually played in this tournament and made it into the top eight.  But I will wait until I upload the videos for you to see how well I did.

The deck that I put together for the tournament was Mono-White Quest.  I built the exact 75 cards from a deck I saw from a deck-tech on the WizardsMTG youtube channel.  Here is the list.

4 Contested War Zone
4 Arid Mesa
4 Marsh Flats
11 Plains
4 Ornithopter
4 Memnite
4 Glint Hawk
4 Signal Pest
4 Steppe Lynx
4 Accorder Paladin
4 Kor Skyfisher
3 Squadron Hawk
4 Quest for the Holy Relic
2 Argentum Armor

2 Plains
1 Squadron Hawk
1 Sword of Feast and Famine
3 Refraction Trap
4 Kor Firewalker
2 Jinxed Idol
1 Molten-Tail Masticore
1 Journey to Nowhere

You can find the deck-tech I watched here...

The reason I chose this deck is because it is pretty straight forward to play and aside from the lands, it was fairly cheap to build.  I ended up trading a bunch of my cards to get what I needed so I didn't have to spend anything to build mine.. however I am still short 2 signal pests and 1 sword of feast and famine.  I am getting the pests from a friend though and I will just probably do without the sword in the sideboard.  I borrowed the cards I needed in the tournament though so I did play the exact 75 like I said.

After playing the deck, one change that I would make is take out one of the Accorder Paladins from the main deck and swap in the fourth Squadron Hawk.  The card advantage from them is too great to pass up and it gives you more creatures for you quest, plus better chances to get a Hawk.

That is all for now.  See you all later!
